For estate owners · In confidence

Never on the market. Only buyers who can transact.

If you own a Western Cape wine farm or boutique wine estate and are weighing your next step, SAI Private offers an alternative to the open market. Your estate is placed privately on an exclusive mandate and presented only to qualified buyers. Your name, location and price never enter the public domain.

For estate owners

What you can expect

01

Never on the market.

No portals, no signboards, no price in public. Your estate is listed nowhere else, and your staff, neighbours and competitors need not know until you choose to tell them.

02

Only buyers who can transact.

Every buyer has signed a confidentiality agreement and had their funds verified before they hear your estate’s name. Most come from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and others from elsewhere abroad and within South Africa.

03

Ready before the first visit.

How funds move into South Africa, the banking and the buying vehicle are mapped out with our partners before any viewing. Whoever walks your vineyards knows how they will proceed.

04

One mandate, one voice.

On an exclusive mandate, every enquiry runs through SAI Private, including from anyone who approaches you directly. Your estate is never shopped around or undercut by competing listings.

Prepared once, properly.

Before any buyer sees your estate, we prepare it in full: title, zoning, water rights, compliance certificates, operating figures, soils and vineyards, cellar, and a clear record of employees and resident occupiers. Done once, it lets a serious buyer’s due diligence move quickly and keeps idle curiosity away from your estate. Every buyer carries out their own due diligence, and we can introduce independent assessors.

Structured to suit both sides.

Share or asset purchase, trust, or a local or foreign company: the purchase vehicle is chosen with tax and legal partners to suit you as well as the buyer.

Enquiries from owners are treated in strict confidence. No buyer hears of your estate without your written mandate.
